Combined Trowel/Spray Applied Flake Filled Linings

Engineered lining systems incorporating a glass flake reinforced COROFLAKE basecoat that is trowel applied over primer, followed by a minimum one spray or roller applied flake filled COROFLAKE topcoat. The trowel/spray applied series linings are available in several base resin formulations for the protection of steel substrates in chemical immersion services at temperatures up to170°F (77°C). Typical applied lining thickness range is 45-80 mils (1.2-2.0 mm) DFT with a target thickness of 60 mils (1.5 mm) DFT.

COROFLAKE 1424 VE

COROFLAKE 1424 VE is a flake filled Vinyl Ester lining system. It consists of a primer, a trowel applied, glass flake filled basecoat and a spray or roller applied inert flake filled topcoat. One or two topcoats may be required depending on the chemical and service conditions. COROFLAKE 1424 VE meets compliance requirements of FDA 21 CFR 175.300 for repeated direct food contact.

COROFLAKE 1434 VE

COROFLAKE 1434 VE is a glass flake filled Vinyl Ester lining system. It consists of a primer, a trowel applied, glass flake filled basecoat and a spray applied glass flake filled topcoat. One or two topcoats may be required depending on the chemical and service conditions. COROFLAKE 1434 VE. meets compliance requirements of FDA 21 CFR 175.300 for repeated direct food contact.

COROFLAKE 1823 NVE is a flake filled Novolac Vinyl Ester lining system. It consists of a primer, a trowel applied glass flake filled basecoat and a spray or roller applied inert flake filled topcoat. One or two topcoats may be required depending on the chemical and service conditions.
